A queer-centered, multidisciplinary integrative health practice

For authentic queerness, empowered intimacy, and honest homecoming.

We refuse to separate the body from the rest of a life. Massage and coaching live under one roof here, not as competing services, but as different languages for the same work.

  • Healing happens in the space between where you were and where you're going. We honor both the fluidity of becoming and the stability of arrival. Sessions are containers where you can be in transition, where anything is possible, and where you're also held. The journey and the destination are equally important.

  • This work bends away from the narrow paths we've been given about what health, intimacy, and professionalism should look like. It makes room for grief, ambivalence, pleasure, fatigue, rage, and curiosity.

  • We honor the complexity of working with bodies in a world shaped by misogyny, queerphobia, racism, ableism, fatphobia, medical trauma, and capitalism. We do not pretend to be neutral.

  • Education and healing are not something done to you; they are something we build together, as peers, from multiple forms of knowledge—research, lived experience, body-based wisdom, and cultural memory.

Somatic Imagery

Guided journeys for nervous system regulation and embodiment

Transformative imagery sessions that support nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, and a felt sense of belonging in your body. These sessions are co-created spaces where your pace and thresholds matter, offering a non-pharmaceutical pathway to presence and healing.

Massage & Coaching

Authentic queerness, empowered intimacy, honest homecoming

Integrative massage and advanced bodywork—neuromuscular and craniosacral therapy, somato-emotional release, visceral and neural manipulation—as non-pharmaceutical care for pain and stress. Integrative health and wellness coaching for authentic queerness and empowered intimacy, where we explore how you relate to your body, your identities, your relationships, and your capacity to be honest with yourself and others.

Massage Education

Peer-centered learning for massage therapists seeking depth

A multi-year professional development track that slows everything down. Instead of a single weekend where you cram and forget, you enter a container where ideas have time to settle, relationships have time to form, and your practice has time to evolve. Mentoring is woven through the experience, including support with academic reading and writing.

Man smiling outdoors, holding a white mug with a drawing of a stick figure sitting in front of a small clock and the text "I Mass" underneath, with palm trees and a blue sky in the background.

This Practice Is For You If You Are…

The queer person who can't bring their body into therapy or their feelings into the clinic

The chronic pain patient who has been reduced to a diagnosis code

The caretaker whose own intimacy and needs have been on the back burner

The person who has survived medical or relational harm and is cautiously wondering if being in a body can ever feel okay again

The massage therapist who is long past checkbox CE and seeking depth

Anyone tired of compartmentalizing: ready to let their queerness, their relationships, their health, and their healing be in the same room

Shawn’s understanding of therapeutic massage work is unparalleled. As someone with chronic pain it is hard to find someone as skilled as he is in massage work that provides relief in the long term. I cannot recommend him enough. He is professional, skilled, and accommodating to a degree that is increasingly harder to find in todays world, you could not find yourself in better hands.

Shawn is the absolute best!!! This is no ordinary massage but instead a therapeutic therapy to decrease pain, relax very tight muscles, tendons and ligaments and restore use of injured or overused body parts. He listens to what is going on, discusses with you the type of massage he recommends and talks to you about what the goal is.
I have had some excellent massages before, but Shawn definitely is even better than those! His technique is spot on. He gets muscles to cooperate without hurting you. He is very well versed in anatomy and physiology. This is so much more than just feeling relaxed! I had horrid pain radiating down both of my arms that was gone, just gone, after one massage!!! I cannot thank him enough for his healing touch! Thanks Shawn!

Shawn is amazing. I have been to a handful of massage therapists in the Orange County area and Shawn's approach is the best. He takes his time and makes sure to never cross the line of "good hurt" and "bad hurt" and constantly checks in with level of pressure. He really cares about his patients.

Shawn's professional attitude was captivating, which made my 11-year-old daughter feel very comfortable. We are coming to see a therapist after the conventional medicine gave up on healing my daughter's pain in her leg and jaws. Shawn was knowledgeable and treated my daughter with much finesse and a gentle touch. She came out asking to meet with him again next week, which is a huge win for me.
